I was looking for a somewhat washed but not super distressed kind of white, and for that matter it did an ok job. But the material looks so cheap you don't have to pick it up to find out that it's synthetic; although, despite the material, the craftsmanship (I understand that it's not made by hand) is not bad, and the price is not super outrageous, though it's not a steal either.Every time I look at it I ask myself if I like it or need it. To this day I still don't have an answer. Most likely will not buy again (if just for peace of mind)
