The frame is very sturdy and I like how heavy it is but since there is no lip anywhere, my mattress constantly slides off. I had to buy an additional product to keep my bed on this frame.I was pleasantly surprised with the quality. The good: Bed sits exactly the height our old huge mattress with box springs sat. Lots of storage (happy wife!). Very sturdy (so far, 5 nights, happy husband!) Seemingly excellent quality. The bad: Wife stubbed her toe walking past. Since it's a black Frame and she likes a bed skirt that goes to the floor we may try some kind of a foam pipe insulation to wrap around it. that should work. Also, the mattress (it's a Tuft and Needle that we picked up from Sam's-pleasantly surprised for the price-first ever bed in a box/memory foam) tends to slide off. I suppose either the mattress will settle a bit into the slats or there may be some attachment to buy like I've seen on other frames to hold the mattress in place. Overall very happy!Bought this for our new mattress and have been happy wi to it. We were able to fit the frame within our wooden bed frame and with a bed skirt covering, one would never know. Of course the metal legs would hurt the toes so we bought foam tube and cut them down to size to wrap around the legs to ensure no broken toes in our future. This is a very nice, sturdy bed-frame which is what we were looking for in a bed-frame. It is sized beautifully to our new mattress. The frame fits perfectly and offers great support. Our previous bed-frame had wood slats that would snap and break. No worries about snapping and breaking with this metal frame! It’s been perfect. So what if China is stealing IKEA's intellectual property? IKEA was asking for it after making us all walk through their money-maze to escape their store. Dare I say the quality is better, and the price is better. Hey, we can ignore child factories making these products, out of sight out of mind. This is a great bed frame.Easy to put together. Only problem, directions said it came with 6 "L" SCREWS but tge blister pack said 4 and came with 4. Had to run to Lowes to find something that would workVery sturdy and high off the floor for underbed storage. We bought a new foam bed-in-a-box mattress and spent a pretty penny on it. We wanted to put it up on a base so we could put plastic totes underneath it for added storage. This platform is great. Very good quality, I feel it will last a long time. It was easy for us to put together. I think it takes longer to unpack it than to assemble. They wrap each piece so it doesn't rub during shipping and scratch or damage it. Instructions were easy to follow and we had it together in less than 15 minutes with zero issues. Everything fit together well and it feels very sturdy. It doesn't move around or make any squeaks or sounds while on it.Our mattress fits on it perfectly, and the storage space underneath is awesome. We have a 12" high mattress, so it does sit up high but not too high and I like it. I am 5' 7" and it's perfect for me. Plus underneath you can store many different sized totes, boxes, baskets...whatever you want.
