I have always purchased metal or titanium. My last oakleys I refitted lenses 3 times. Which should be a testament. These are more designed like the sunglass with soft nose bridge. Never owned plastic eyewear. Bought because at my age I needed greater lens viewing for my motorcycle. Took to my eye people and they ordered a new digital lens with progressive and transitions built in. I must say the glasses and the lens combo is absolutely the best I have had for 35 years! the rear ear section I thought was plastic as well. Nope, it is a flexible rubber that does not hurt my ear. Also slides into my motorcycle helmet with ease and comfort. Totally happy with my purchase!!!! Way to go Oakley, nailed it again!!!I had zeroed down on this optical frame as my kid had spoiled my old frame. The build quality very good the styling very good. The packing of the product and Amazon’s packaging was good. Got it in good condition. The comfort and fit I will not be able to comment as it was very very big for my face. I’m those small built guys so I have a relatively small head and face. So since it did not fit me well thought keeping the frame around which is of no use to me it’s better I return it so that someone who needs it can take it. My final comment very good professionally made product. I would recommend it and mind you I have not been sponsored for this review.Don’t buy looks cheap
