My grandson said it’s the best bed ever!I’m working on redecorating bedrooms and have moved my girls into the larger bedroom since they’re having to share. I had looked and looked, mulled it around for months on which bed to get my girls. I had a large bunk bed set up for my son, but sold it. It was just too. much. bed. So I knew I needed something simple and smaller this time around.I’m happy with the price of this bed and the quality. The piece is heavy enough to be sturdy and doesn’t “feel” cheap. It’s shorter than some other bunk beds which was something we were trying to find. I like that the ladder doesn’t stick out in the room. (Although I know it’s handy to remove one if needed to keep little kids from climbing). The directions were pretty simple to follow if you paid close attention to which lettered leg post went where. So far, it seems like a nice purchase. But I just put it together today. I’ll update if we have any catastrophic events occur, however I’m fairly certain this is a pretty cut and dry purchase. No real complaints.*update* 10 months later- I’m still satisfied. No complaintsI received it super fast! When I took it out of the box, everything was in good condition, no cracks, it had all the parts, if I had any concerns or questions, customer service was on top it and answered any question I had.I don't understand why there are so many good reviews for this item. Bought this because unfortunately Ikea's white pine bunk beds were sold out and this seemed like a comparable item for just a little more. The beds compared to any other solid pine furniture I've ever bought are light my 2yo can push it around, usually pine furniture is very heavy and sturdy. The slats are rough and full of splinters, you need to sand them down,, my hair and daughter's hair gets caught on slats everytime I lie her down on the bottom bunk. I had to purchase a Zinus bunk board to put under each mattress to prevent them from snagging on the slats. One of my daughter weights 42lbs and the other one weights 50lbs, no where near the 200 and 300lb weight limit yet 5 of the slats are cracking, one of the corner wood leg is cracking from the middle, the piece of wood that supports the slats is cracking, all 3 of the wooden side rails are cracking from the middle outward and all this happened within 2 weeks of assembly and usage. Contacted Amazon and they said it's a third party vendor and we had to go through them. The vendor offered $14 rebate for this junk, which you have to pay $100 alone just on delivery fees, cause of course it comes from China. We turned down the $14 and they offered to send some more crappy replacement parts for the ones that are cracked. Iif this bed last 6 months I'll be surprised. Amazon do better. Go to your nearest Ikea and spend less on their bunk bed which is guaranteed to be 100% pine, it will last longer and they are not made without any harmful chemicals.Edit: we had a slat and edge piece break where the slat rests. I had replacements with 1 week free of charge.I bought this for my twins and it is super! It was pretty straight forward to assemble. Takes 2 people but it is beautiful and solid. I highly recommend.Pleased with productLove the bed! Pretty sturdy, easy to put together. Only issue is there are not enough wood slats and I had to get a few more to add.. I have a low ceiling and it’s a perfect fit! My kids have enough space to get on the top. I would recommend.I loved this at first, really I did. I bought 2 had them around 11 months. All the sudden 1 day the bed broke the wood just snapped. Week later so did the 2nd bunk bed, but the top this time. Very dissatisfied.
