The only downside that I found out was that the graphics from the words were imprinted on the glass and at an angle you can see it. I’ve scrubbed and it’s very faint now. I put my sons pictures in that has a white background and the brackets to hold the glass in place shows in the picture if it’s closed, so I had to not close one of them on each side so my pictures didn’t have a black circle showing through.I purchased this as part of a gift for a friend who lost her husband a couple of years ago. I placed prints of her and her husband in the frame. The back of each section is very secure. You will need a screwdriver to take the backs off. The frames are well made. I think she will love it. I have not had the opportunity to give it to her yet.I got it to put my pictures up at work and it' was a perfect choice...I used this frame as a Christmas gift for my husband. It very nicely held pictures of our granddaughter as well as pictures of each of us with her. Very attractive and good quality. He loved it.
