This isn't a bed you'll be passing down for generations, but I don't think anyone expects that when buying this... It's a jeep bed! My 2 year old shows everyone MULTIPLE TIMES when they come by to take a look at his new Jeep Bed!Overall product quality, again, not the best. Seems flimsy, I don't think it can take anyone heavier than a small child swinging from the "door frame" for this to come apart, but I don't think that matters because it's a jeep bed!Getting in and out of the bed for the toddler was a bit of a learning curve, but he knows to be extra careful when getting in, but it wasn't before a couple of hits on the head for him to learn. but he eventually did, and yours eventually will too.The side windows, or rather the walls, are very thin and extra flimsy. Something you'd get for the back of your closet, so I wouldn't expect much play from those windows. It's also odd that the back of the bed also has a "jeep grill" design... I would see a bit more use from the back to have a flat board to install a book shelf or something. If my son was writing this review, this bed would get a 6/5. Since I (the father that put it together and has to put him into it OVER the door frame every night) would rate it a pretty low 4/5. If it was made of stronger materials, or if the design of it was a bit more versatile, it's an easy upgrade to a 5. It does what you buy it for, and that's the most important part!
