Spoke with the seller and after some back and forth I believe he understood my problem. I bought these because I specifically needed 5/16" threaded parts for my bed as I lost them during my latest move. I was perplexed when these arrived and they were M8x1.25 because the listing says 5/16". Granted none of these types of parts on Amazon provide the thread pitch for whatever reason. I guess they didn't think it is relevant since most people buy them to build something, not as replacement parts. Yes 5/16" and 8mm are essentially identical in diameter, but my mind automatically jumps to imperial units when I see fractions like 5/16". To be clear - the diameter of the rods are 8mm, or 5/16", however you want to view it. The thread pitch is most certainly 1.25mm.
